A very pretty and whimsical GSM blend that beckons you with aromas of fresh cut strawberries, chocolate mint, caramel, and baking spices that unfurl from the glass at first pour. As you sip, notes of strawberry, raspberry, and rhubarb pie drizzled with caramel dance across your palate. That initial act is slowly replaced by notes of rosemary, crushed shale rock, allspice, and clove, which linger delightfully; echoing the ephemeral experience.
Vintage
Hot, fast and furious, the 2022 vintage came in guns blazing. It is the earliest vintage in memory, and it made for a different profile of wine. Expect 2022 wines to be bigger, more robust versions of the wines you know from producers. It in many ways harkens back to the early 2000s wines from the area.
Vineyard
This fruit hails from the meticulously farmed Terry Hoage Vineyards in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles. This vineyard is where we truly got our start in the Paso Robles wine ecosystem. It is a place known for producing wines with great concentration yet approachability and balance. High pH soils lead to wines that have optimal ripeness and freshness.
