2022 Among the Wildflowers

33% viognier, 26% Roussanne, 21% Grenache blanc, 20% Picppoul Blanc

The 2022 Among the Wildflowers consists of lots fermented in neutral 228L French Oak barriques. The Roussanne, Viognier, and Grenache Blanc were picked at the same time, pressed together, and cofermented. The Picpoul Blanc was picked at a later date and blended after primary fermentation was complete. This wine shows off a delightful complexity with the Grenache Blanc and Viognier conjouring notes of fresh cut flowers, asian pear, and white plum. The Picpoul Blanc loans its signature acidity along with spiced honey notes. Last but not least the Roussanne gives a bump to the midpalate and provides unctious stone fruit and candied wax.
